Custran has launched a new product. As of today NCTS Ireland Transit Software is available on the Custran platform. This software will help you make all of your T1 and T2 transit declarations on the Custran platform directly to the NCTS system.This software will be of particular interest to anyone shipping goods from Ireland via the UK landbridge onto the EU.
Traffic from the Republic of Ireland via the UK landbridge to EU countries has increased steadily over the last 12 months. This route is faster and more cost effective in many cases than by passing the UK from Ireland. We offer full live online training for anyone who needs customs software training for T1 and T2 transit declarations.
To get started using NCTS Ireland Transit Software you will need to consider the following:
- You require a ROS digital certificate and upload to your Custran account. If you have an existing one for import, export or ENS the same one will
do for transits - You also need to tick that C&E box in your ROS account
- You will need a comprehensive guarantee in place before you can make a transit declaration on Custran. To apply for this guarantee go to compguarantee@revenue.ie
- You may be interested in registering as an authorised consignor or authorised consignee. If you are eligible this authorisation will
allow you to perform certain transit procedures at your own premise.
