With Custran’s digitised documentation for shipment transportation, SMEs, forwarders and hauliers can connect with one another and create & share digital shipment information including a digital consignment note (eCMR – the contract between parties for the transportation of a shipment.)
- An SME or forwarder creates a job on Custran and invites a haulier to accept the job.
- The supplier is notified by email that there is a job notification on Custran.
- The supplier logs on and accepts the job and points the job to a driver, who in turn goes to the platform via a mobile app for details.
- Drivers receive and send instant shipment notifications on their handheld devices. This ensures instant notifications on collections, delays and crucially deliveries.
